The Cocktail Straw Showdown: Glass vs Plastic

The Cocktail Straw Showdown: Glass vs Plastic

As you are probably aware, the average cocktail is usually accompanied by one or more plastic straws. The straws are then used to consume that cocktail and immediately thrown away. The process repeats as each new cocktail is served with new plastic straws. Within a few hours, the average bar can throw away 600 straws. No wonder 500 million straws are tossed every day (and that’s just in the USA)!

  4. I love the glass straws. I think I have about 15, including the travel case.
Plastic just isn’t doing it any more.
My household is going all glass, including food storage.
These straws are the best thing in a long time. Yhanks

  5. I happened to receive one of these straws in my mystery bag (my FAVORITE way to buy straws, BTW), and I use it a lot more than I thought I would. Tonight is margarita date night, so I’ll be sure to pack it and bring it with me!
