Quality and Handmade in USA
We personally design and hand-make all our glass straws in our own workshop in Michigan. We use both clear and color borosilicate glass which has been tested by a third-party laboratory to verify the safety and toxin-free integrity of its composition. Here are some facts about this type of glass:

Care and Cleaning
Treat your straw like any other high-end glassware item in your home because they can break if hit against a hard object or dropped on stone, ceramic tile or cement floor. If you put them in a drawer, make sure that they will not be disturbed by other items in the drawer. We recommend that you keep them out in the open to show them off! If you ever notice any chipping, cracking or breakage, stop using the straw immediately and click here to request a replacement straw. Under normal use, your straw will last a long time and become an enjoyable beverage accessory.
Ways to clean your straw:
- Using the dishwasher will sanitize your straw. Best practice is to set aside a silverware compartment just for your glass straws so that they are not banging around with the silverware.
- Rinse your straw in hot water and wash with soap immediately after use.
- If your straw dries without being rinsed, you may need to use a cleaning brush if you do not have a dishwasher. One thing to keep in mind with bent kids straws is that the brush can sometimes be difficult to get in the bend so we recommend rinsing in hot water immediately after use to make cleaning a breeze.
- Sometimes your straw gets cloudy from hard water conditions in the dishwasher. If so, soak it in distilled white vinegar to return the glass to its original beauty. If you have a cleaning brush you can use after a short soaking, it will speed the results.

Damage and Lifetime Guarantee
We have a lifetime guarantee against accidental breakage of Strawesome straws. We use the honor system, so if you purposely broke your straw, please refrain from requesting a replacement. To start the process, please fill out this replacement request form and follow the instructions for obtaining your replacement. There is no need for you to return your broken straw to us as most cannot be repaired. We will email you an electronic coupon code worth the retail price of the broken product (taxes and shipping are not included) which you can use on strawesome.com to order any replacement product you choose. If you order a product of higher value, you will simply pay the difference. If your coupon code expires before you use it, just let us know and we will extend it. This is a technical issue that we will fix in our new website. Our lifetime warranty does not expire. If your broken straw was custom or is no longer available to purchase on the website, we will (to the best of our ability) create a replica of the exact same product for you.
What is your Return and Exchange Policy?
For non-custom orders, you can return your straw(s) for a refund within 30 days of your original purchase date. We will refund your purchase minus shipping. If you prefer to exchange your straw for another, we will be happy to do an exchange within 30 days of your original purchase date for the cost of shipping. Please call or email us for return/exchange instructions prior to returning your straw(s).
Privacy and Security
At Strawesome, we work hard to ensure that your personal and payment information is secure and your privacy is respected. We do not sell or rent your information. We use SSL technology to keep your credit card information encrypted and secure when you make purchases on our website.
Most orders are processed and shipped within four days of their receipt. We ship United States Postal Service (USPS) First-Class or Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation (USA orders only) so you can track your order. Most orders arrive in 1-3 days if shipped within the United States. You will receive an email with tracking information when your order ships.
Note: International orders shipped First Class by United States Postal Service have limited tracking. Your order’s tracking status will remain “Shipment Accepted” even after you receive it, and the time in which you will receive it varies by destination. In most cases, we hear of orders arriving about 7-10 business days after the acceptance date, but some can take up to 4 weeks.
Our shipping and handling rates are calculated based on your shipping address. For USA and Canadian orders of $100 or more, we pay your shipping as a thank you for supporting our business.
Will the price show if I send an order as a gift?
You can ship your order direct to someone else because our packing slip does not show pricing. It only shows who the order was billed to and shipped to. If you want us to include a message to the person receiving your gift, include that in the comments field when ordering.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Paypal. Orders are subject to credit verification and acceptance before shipping. We charge sales tax on orders shipped to Michigan only.
How do I remove my email address from your list?
If you no longer want to receive promotional email from us, there are two ways to let us know: either select Unsubscribe at the bottom of any Strawesome email you receive or email us. We may still contact you by email if there's an issue with your order or if there's something related to your account with us that we feel is in your best interest to communicate.
